SEPTEMBER 8, 2016 - TUESDAY - 6:30 pm - Annual Kickoff Meeting Our first meeting of the 2016-17 year will be in the Deerwood subdivision. Dinner will be provided. Jeanette O’Connor will share er experiences at the 2016 Tri Delta Convention and Volunteer Training held in July in Phoenix. Invite a school friend, wear your school colors and dine with us. A $25 gift certificate will be drawn from our early dues payers. You need not be present to win.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2016 - WEDNESDAY - all day - Benefit to St. Jude
Dine at any Chili’s restaurant and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude hospital. What a great way to strengthen our sorority's partnership with St. Jude and their endeavors for children’s cancer research.
OCTOBER 13, 2016 - THURSDAY - 7:30 to 8:45 pm - Sunset Cruise on St. Johns River Join other Tri Deltas and their families for this 1 hour and 15 minute cruise. What a great way to enjoy our river and our city! Bring your own dinner and drink or adult beverage to enjoy while cruising. The dock and boat are located at the River City Brewing Company on the south bank - 835 Museum Circle, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. Ticket prices are $20 for adults. (See Membership section to pay.) NOVEMBER 5, 2016 - SATURDAY - 10:30 am - 90th Anniversary Founders' Day Celebration - Florida Yacht Club, 5210 Yacht Club Road, Jacksonville, FL 32210
We're hoping for a BIG crowd this year - 90 years, can you believe it? This is always our biggest event of the year - enjoy our special guest speaker, celebrate our Golden & Diamond Circle members, find some bargains at the Silent Auction, and rejoice in the sisterhood. The St. Augustine Alumnae Chapter and the Beta Gamma collegiate chapter will join in our celebration. The emphasis is sisterhood, so be sure and invite a favorite Tri Delta(s). We need your items to sell in the silent auction for St. Jude Hospital - give us a shout at jaxddd@comcast.net, if you will bring an item!

DECEMBER 3, 2016 - SATURDAY - 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm - Annual Holiday Gathering Please join us at the CaddyShack Restaurant at World Golf Village for lunch, followed by a tour of the beautifully decorated Christmas trees at the Renaissance Hotel. You will be able to bid on a tree, if you would like to take one home. Proceeds from the tree sales benefit the area homeless through Home Again St. Johns (non-profit). Your guest is welcome, too - spouse, significant other, or friend.

Would you like to volunteer for the Wolfson Children’s Hospital annual “Wolfson Children’s Challenge” marathon? We had a great time last year and raised $2,000 in one evening! It's easy to answer the phones and call for donations for this very worthy cause for just one hour at the WJXT station. The date and time will be determined as the event approaches. Please plan to participate in the telethon again this year either by staffing the phone bank or by making a donation via the phone-in number that will be made available ahead of time!

FEBRUARY 16, 2017 - THURSDAY - 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Our last Whole Foods Cooking Class was a huge favorite! Get your reservations in early! This time we will learn how to make our own beauty products from food. The class is hosted by Noreen Young, a local TV personality. We will also enjoy wine and appetizers. The address is 10601 San Jose Blvd at I-295.

Panhellenic Meeting at the Haskell Building, 111 Riverside Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32202. This is our month to co-host. Call Ally Capriotti at 422-4843 to RSVP and volunteer to bring food. MARCH 16, 2017 - THURSDAY - Sally Industries Tour at 11:00am / Lunch at 1:00pm
Take a tour of the scary creatures that are used in movies and theme parks. Sally Industries is one of the leaders in this business. It is located downtown at 745 West Forsyth Street. They create these creatures and make them lifelike. The tour is 11:00 to 12:30. We can eat afterward at The Loop or another downtown eatery. The tour is free to the public.
APRIL 1, 2017 - SATURDAY - 10:30am to Noon
Our annual Pansy Breakfast will be held at the home of Michelle Miller in Ortega. Mingle with the alumnae, Beta Gamma girls, graduating seniors and their moms. Enjoy a tasty brunch! Circle Degree will be held afterward.
MAY 6, 2017 - SATURDAY - 5:00 to 8:00 pm - Kentucky Derby Party
Our annual Kentucky Derby Party will be held at Bruce and Shirin Brenick’s waterfront beach condo. Wear your finest duds and hats for the big race. Please bring a covered dish, appetizer or dessert and adult beverage. Meat and set-ups will be provided. Your guest is welcome - spouse, date, or friend!
